Product Info
Parker’s Ultra Clean System removes contaminants from inside hydraulic hose assemblies, thereby reducing the risk of downtime resulting from clogged filters, component malfunctions and hose failure. Parker recommends that you buy a cleaning kit along with the following accessories: Projectiles: Parker’s Ultra Clean Projectiles remove fine particles of loose contamination, reducing the risk of downtime caused by hose failure. It is vitally important to clean the hose immediately after the cutting process before the contaminants cool and stick to achieve the best results. An Ultra Clean projectile should be fired through the hose prior to the installation of end connections. Fire one projectile in each direction through the length of the hose. This will allow cleaning in the areas occupied by the insertion of the hose nozzle at either end during the cleaning process. After the crimping or swaging of fittings, an Ultra Clean projectile should be fired through the entire hose assembly. Apply Clean Seal Capsules to the hose ends to keep airborne contaminants from entering the hose while protecting the threads.Nozzles:Parker’s Ultra Clean Nozzles assist in the removal of fine particles of loose contamination, reducing the risk of downtime caused by hose failure. Due to the wide arrange of available nozzles, different diameters and types of hose can be cleaned simply and efficiently. Basically insert an Ultra Clean Gun with a nozzle into the ID of the hose to shoot a projectile. Requires a ½” I.D. air hose with a minimum of 80 PSI. Parker offers nozzles for JIC, Code 61 and Code 62 flanges and ORFS if required.
